Instructions
Blend ricotta and olive oil in a food processor until smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Alternatively, you use a handheld mixer.
Slice the sourdough bread into thick pieces and toast or grill. Spread the whipped ricotta on the toasted bread, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with black pepper. Serve immediately.
Notes
You can make the whipped ricotta using either a food processor or a hand mixer.
For best results, use whole-milk fresh ricotta. The ricotta only needs to be processed for a minute or two or until it's light and creamy.
