Equipment

  • Frappe mixer, glass jar with a tight-fitting lid, or handheld milk frother

Ingredients

  • 1-2 teaspoons instant Nescafé coffee
  • 1 teaspoon white granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup cold water to mix with the instant coffee to make the foam
  • 1 cup 250 ml cold water, regular or dairy-free milk, or a combination of water and milk

Instructions

  • Add 1-2 teaspoons of Nescafé instant coffee, sugar (optional), and 1/4 cup of cold water in a jar or tall glass. Tightly secure a lid on the jar and shake the instant coffee, water, and sugar for 30-60 seconds. If using a handheld milk frother instead, mix the instant coffee, sugar (optional), and water in a tall glass for about 15-30 seconds or until frothy.
  • Place a few ice cubes in a tall glass and slowly pour the frothy coffee over the ice. Top the glass with cold water, milk of your choice, or a combination of both. I love using oat milk because it's so creamy!

Notes

  • The longer you shake or whip the coffee, the frothier it will be
  • You can adjust the amount of coffee and sugar based on how strong and sweet you like your coffee
  • Serve and enjoy immediately
