Once the cookies are in the oven.  Prepare the honey syrup and toasted ground walnuts !

Remove the cookies from the oven and let the cookies cool completely for at least 20 minutes on a cooling rack

Heat the honey syrup mixture to a boil   Once the syrup is hot, turn off the heat and dip your cookies into the syrup

Soak the cookies in syrup for one minute on each side.  Place the dipped cookies on a serving tray Sprinkle the ground walnuts on top of the dipped honey cookies. Enjoy!
