Thank you for stopping by!

After high school in Victoria, BC, I flew out East to Western University in London, Ontario and graduated in 2011 with a bachelor of business management degree. After university, I moved back to Victoria and helped manage one of Victoria’s most successful restaurant franchises with my family. Almost eight years later, I was looking for a change and decided to pursue another passion of mine, real estate.

In 2020, I created a real estate blog (I knew nothing about blogging at the time haha, but I was looking to generate leads as a new agent).

Little did I know how much I would love blogging, and I haven't looked back since.  But, in the back of my mind I knew I always wanted to have a successful Greek food blog, and so in December 2021, Riri’s Greek Eats was created!

Riri's Greek Eats is all about re-creating the recipes that I loved growing up in a Greek household, and sharing them with you so that you can enjoy them as well!  There's something so special about making comfort foods like gemista, creamy rice pudding, or yiayia’s paximadakia.

I love creating new recipes, food photography, and everything related to food blogging.  It gives me so much joy!

I enjoy researching new tips, techniques, and strategies to give you the best experience while browsing the recipes.  It means so much that I get to share these recipes and techniques with you.

I remember vividly creating and photographing these baklava cinnamon rolls, and from styling the syrup drip to stacking the cinnamon rolls, I was immediately hooked on food photography!  It also helps that I could enjoy the cinnamon rolls after.
